the 1st pic is a mini sushi platter consisting of 2 squid sushi, 2 salmon sushi and 2 tuna sushi....all raw! it doesnt really come in a set like that actually, i ordered these 3 types and they just put all 6 of it in 1 plate....its from this small jap shop in a foodcourt at cuppage plaza....next to the orchard isetan.....standard-wise, not very fantastic....the seafood were just average...just fresh enough not to sense the fishy smell.....the rice was probably machine-churned....satisfactory for hungry and non-picky eaters i guess....

the 2nd pic is the all-so-familiar sandwich from subway....couldn't remember what filling was it....turkey ham? 1 thing i like about Subway is that i get to customize my sandwich but being able to choose almost wateva i wan to go in it....nice!

Sushi:

Price: $2 per type i think

waffles from Max Brenners...located in Esplanade Mall B1 (i think)....2 pieces of freshly baked waffles drizzled with chocolate sauce, served with a tangy apple sauce, bananas, a huge dollop of whipped cream and additional helping of chocolate sauce in the mini-jug! not bad at all! the waffles were ok....doesnt taste home-made (probably frozen imported ones), but freshly made before serving....the sauce was tangy and sour, goes quite well with the waffles if you find the choc sauce too sweet....but the whipped cream was kinda redundant for weight-watchers like me...*grinz*

Price: $10-12 (could'nt really remember)
Rating: 3.5/5

back after soo long...all the pics are kinda outdated now...the pic above is a choc donut in the shape of a flower....bought from a shop in Takashimaya B2 Food Hall....there are lots of different kinds of donuts there.....bought it coz i thought it looked quite cute....well, taste-wise was average....nothing very special....the donut itself was abit hard though...maybe coz its quite cold from being left out there.....the choc frosting was ok....not too sweet, but sweet enough.....

Price: $1+

Rating:2.5/5
